Contribute to the SAGB’s 55th Annual Conference & Fundraising Dinner

The Shellfish Association of Great Britain (SAGB) is excited to unveil its 55th Annual Conference and Fundraising Dinner, scheduled for June 10–11, 2025. This major event not only represents progress within the UK shellfish industry, but it also serves as a vital platform for raising funds.

This year, the SAGB is reaching out to our community of Friends of SAGB for assistance in overcoming recent funding challenges. Several of our longstanding sponsors are unable to provide their usual support this year, and we need to raise over £10,000 to ensure the conference’s success and continuation of our essential work.

The Annual Conference is far more than just a gathering; it is a lifeline for our industry. Proceeds from this event directly fuel our advocacy and innovation efforts throughout the year.

Benefits of Becoming a Friend of SAGB

• All supporters will be acknowledged on a dedicated Friends of SAGB page in the conference biography booklet and on the SAGB website.
• Supporters who donate £300 or more will have their logos featured on the sponsorship form shared with all conference attendees. Additionally, non-member supporters at this level will receive member-rate pricing for conference tickets.
• Supporters contributing £1,000 or more will receive all benefits listed above plus:
  • A complimentary conference ticket.
  • Two black-tie dinner tickets at the prestigious Fishmongers’ Hall (valued at over £500).
  • A company biography included in the conference booklet.
  • Your logo displayed on-screen during the event.

Your involvement, whether you attend in-person or contribute from afar, will significantly bolster the resilience of the shellfish sector.
