The countdown is nearly over as the winner of the Sustainability Impact Award is set to be revealed this week at VIV Europe in Utrecht, the Netherlands. On the day of the grand ceremony, on 3 June, readers and attendees will have the chance to get to know all 5 finalists during a dedicated round-table discussion right at the showgrounds.

The topic of the round-table, organised by Misset International, is “Sustainability and profit: can you have both?” On stage will be representatives of all 5 contenders. Between 11am and noon, at the VIV stage in Hall 12, they will explain in more detail what their innovations are all about and above all – why their ideas are so sustainable that they deserve to be awarded.

The 5 finalists were selected by an expert panel of professionals from the food and agriculture sector. Important criteria were the uniqueness of the product or service, the contribution to solving environmental problems and whether the product or service is economically sustainable (ROI).

Sustainability Impact Award event at VIV Europe

The winner of the Sustainability Impact Award will be revealed later on June 3, during a grand evening celebration in Tivoli Vredenburg, just a short walk from the VIV Europe showgrounds. That event will start at 6pm.
