Appointment of William Lambert as Coordinator of the Poultry Research Team at CRF

In a significant leadership move, Mr. William Lambert, currently serving as the Poultry Innovation Manager at MiXscience, has been appointed the Coordinator of the Poultry Research Team (PRT) by Cooperative Research Farms (CRF). This new role will officially commence on July 1, 2025, following the tenure of Mr. Alexandre Lebel from Sollio Agriculture, who has completed his second term as PRT Coordinator.

About William Lambert

William Lambert joined the CRF PRT in December 2023, bringing a wealth of experience and academic credentials to the position. He holds a master’s degree in animal husbandry from École Supérieure de l’Agriculture in Angers, France, and another in Animal Nutrition from Wageningen University. His professional journey includes significant contributions to research on phosphorus requirements of laying hens during his time at Schothorst Feed Research. He has also served as the Scientific and Technical Manager at Ajinomoto Animal Nutrition (now Eurolysine), providing technical support for amino acid-based solutions for both pigs and poultry throughout Europe.

Cooperative Research Farms (CRF) is a well-established international organization composed of feed manufacturers across North America and Europe. Over the past 71 years, CRF has conducted over 3,300 research trials focused on nutrition and management, delivering valuable insights and benefits to its members. The organization includes prominent companies such as Kalmbach Feeds, Inc. from Ohio, MiXscience from France, and Sollio Agriculture from Quebec.

Currently, CRF represents a significant segment of the livestock feed market, managing over 12 million metric tons of final feed equivalent. The organization is supported by 39 member-owned feed mills, employing 1,442 individuals dedicated to enhancing animal nutrition, with 88 experts engaged in research, development, and technical support.
