AKVA Group Partners with DOKK Husøy to Supply Concrete Feed Barges

AKVA Group, a leader in aquaculture technologies, has announced a strategic alliance with DOKK Husøy for the supply of concrete feed barges. This collaboration not only enhances AKVA group’s offerings but also positions them as a full-service provider in the burgeoning barge market.

Establishing a Strong Foundation

Over the last six years, DOKK Husøy has successfully produced and delivered over 40 concrete barges, solidifying its reputation as an experienced supplier with a strong track record of quality. Located in Husøy, Karmøy, Rogaland, DOKK Husøy will now serve as a vital partner for AKVA Group in the concrete sector.

Erlend Røed Gundersen, Chief Operating Officer of AKVA Group, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership: “We aim to be a comprehensive supplier of barge solutions. The partnership will primarily serve the Nordic region and Scotland, allowing AKVA Group to provide complete barge setups in both concrete and steel. This dual offering enhances operational flexibility for farmers, accommodating varied site conditions and operational requirements.
