Grant Daniel Long Report
Today’s yarding at Dalby showed a significant spike, featuring many quality runs of cattle. The market was steady to upward across all categories, supported by increased competition as all regular feedlot and meatworks buyers were present.
Heavier bulls and heifers saw considerable price hikes compared to last week due to stronger buyer competition. Feeder steers and heifers remained stable, despite a greater number being yarded. Quality weaner steers improved significantly, with prices surpassing $6, while weaner heifers over 250kg remained firm.
