The ongoing debate surrounding Iceland’s new aquaculture bill is positioned to continue resonating well beyond its passage into law. Recently, the bill underwent its first reading in the parliament, known as the Althing, and has moved on to the Industry and Trade Committee for further consideration ahead of a second reading.
