Highlights from the 2026 International Production & Processing Expo
The International Production & Processing Expo (IPPE) achieved remarkable success in 2026, boasting the largest trade show floor in its history. Covering a massive 662,214 square feet, the exposition featured 1,375 exhibitors, solidifying its status as the world’s premier annual event for the animal food, meat, poultry, and egg industries. Notably, IPPE ranks among the top 25 trade shows in the United States.
Impressive Attendance Figures
This year’s expo saw 32,550 registered attendees from various sectors within the poultry, egg, meat, and animal food industries. However, inclement weather impacted attendance, resulting in approximately 29,000 participants. Despite these challenges, attendance still marked a high point, with a record-breaking 9,706 international attendees from 115 countries. Notably, Canada represented the largest international contingent, comprising 15% of the registered participants, while Latin America showcased a significant presence, accounting for 49% of international attendees.
Positive Feedback and Future Plans
“Despite the weather-related hurdles, the engagement and turnout at the 2026 IPPE were commendable. Attendees provided positive feedback about the trade show, educational programs, and networking opportunities. We aim to leverage this momentum to enhance the value of next year’s event for both attendees and exhibitors,” remarked the IPPE show organizers.
Educational Programming
The expo featured an extensive lineup of educational programming, offering over 80 hours of sessions on vital topics such as food safety, workplace safety, sustainability, industry trends, and market updates. These sessions played a crucial role in keeping industry professionals informed about the latest issues and developments.
New Brand Identity
In celebration of a 15-year collaboration among its three sponsoring organizations, IPPE introduced a new logo. This new brand identity not only reflects the rich history but also sets the stage for IPPE to continue being the premier event for experts involved in the production and processing of the world’s food supply. The new logo will be prominently featured at the upcoming 2027 IPPE, scheduled for January 26 – 28 in Atlanta, Georgia.
