The rapidly expanding Meat Business Women network is excited to announce that registrations are now open for its 2026 National Conference, scheduled to take place in Sydney on 25th March. This event aims to unite women from all segments of the meat and food supply chain for a day filled with learning, networking, and valuable industry insights.
The theme for this year’s conference, “Fuelled by Ambition“, will guide discussions on how ambition can foster personal growth, enhance workplace dynamics, and cultivate an inclusive industry.

Delegates can look forward to a dynamic agenda featuring inspiring speakers, practical skill-building workshops, and leadership discussions. There will also be ample opportunities to expand professional networks in a supportive environment aimed at future growth.
Pre-conference activities will enhance the experience, including a guided tour of Coles’ Retail Ready Operations, providing attendees a closer look at industry leadership in action.
Introducing the Empower Her Access Initiative
In conjunction with the conference announcement, Meat Business Women Australia is proud to introduce the “Empower Her Access” initiative. This program is designed to assist women who face financial or geographical challenges that may hinder their ability to attend the event. Successful applicants will receive a sponsored delegate ticket, enhancing accessibility and ensuring a broader participation of women eager to grow professionally.

Meat Business Women Chair Stacey McKenna from Midfield Meats in Victoria
Stacey McKenna, the Chair of Meat Business Women Australia, expressed the organization’s commitment to opening doors and expanding pathways for women at every stage of their careers.
“We encounter exceptional women regularly, bringing both drive and potential into this industry. Unfortunately, many do not always have the same chances to participate in events like our national conference,” said Ms. McKenna. “The Empower Her Access program aims to eliminate those barriers, allowing more women to step into spaces that facilitate their growth.”
Ms. McKenna emphasized that the conference’s theme, Fuelled by Ambition, encapsulates the spirit of the upcoming event.
“Ambition manifests in various forms — whether through curiosity, courage, leadership, or the willingness to embrace new challenges. Our 2026 conference is a celebration of that dynamic energy,” she added. “Delegates will depart feeling inspired, connected, and equipped with fresh perspectives and tools to bring back to their workplaces.”
The conference is set to take place at Dockside, Cockle Bay Wharf, on Darling Harbour, making it a picturesque venue for discussion and collaboration.
