- UltraAQ AS
- Greenfox Marine AS
- Circmar AS
UltraAQ AS: Revolutionizing Net and Cage Maintenance
UltraAQ has unveiled an autonomous net washer that operates independently, without the need for an umbilical connection. The system initiates cleaning when it leaves its charging position, completes the task, and returns for recharging and data exchange. Once fully charged, it picks up exactly where it left off. This innovative solution minimizes fouling, enhances water flow, reduces pollution, and lessens stress on fish during maintenance operations, showcasing successful pilot testing in various facilities.
Greenfox Marine AS: Automated Gender Sorting and Health Screening
Greenfox Marine has introduced cutting-edge technology for the gender sorting and health screening of salmon smolt, incorporating both ultrasound and artificial intelligence (AI). This automated system melds seamlessly with existing vaccination lines, offering simultaneous sorting based on gender and various health parameters in a swift and efficient manner. This innovation supports the aquaculture sector by lowering mortality rates, enhancing fish welfare, achieving consistent growth, optimizing production management, and boosting profitability. Furthermore, it aligns with environmental goals by minimizing resource use. Greenfox Marine’s creation is the first to combine automatic gender sorting with AI-enhanced ultrasound diagnostics.
Circmar AS: Sustainable Packaging for Seafood
Circmar AS has introduced a pioneering, eco-friendly packaging solution tailored for the seafood industry, aiming to replace the disposable packaging model. Their system features collapsible, reusable fish crates, reusable pallets, and integrated sensors for tracking and monitoring. It also includes a comprehensive return, disinfection, and cleaning protocol. By gradually replacing traditional styrofoam boxes and wooden pallets, this innovative approach delivers a more sustainable packaging model offered as a service.
