In a significant development in the poultry industry, Oakwood, Georgia-based Wayne-Sanderson Farms has officially acquired Georgia-based Harrison Poultry. Known for its exceptional “Golden Goodness” line of poultry products, Harrison Poultry has been a staple for traditional, international, and halal chicken offerings.

Immediate Transition and Integration

The acquisition, which is effective immediately, includes the full transfer of all assets associated with Harrison Poultry. This encompasses live production, hatchery, feed mill, manufacturing, as well as transportation facilities linked to Harrison’s operations in the Bethlehem and Crawfordville areas. Wayne-Sanderson Farms anticipates that day-to-day operations will continue with minimal disruption as integrated operations commence.
