Today, Juanita sits down with Michele Melillo, the Vice President of GTS – Global Technical Services at Sun World International. Michele leads the company’s global technical services team, providing vital agronomic support and cultural practices to a network of over 1,800 growers across 15 countries who cultivate Sun World’s renowned table grape and stone fruit varieties.
A seasoned viticulturist since 2004, Michele brings a wealth of experience from Europe, Australia, North Africa, and South America. He joined Sun World as a consultant for Europe and Australia in 2014, enhancing the company’s expertise in agronomy. He holds a B.Sc. in Agronomy from the University of Bari in Italy and an M.Sc. in Horticulture and Agronomy from UC Davis in California.
