Celebrate National Mango Day with Free Mangos from Instacart

The National Mango Board and Instacart are partnering to offer free mangos nationwide on July 22, celebrating National Mango Day. This one-day promotion aims to highlight the peak of mango season and encourage consumers to enjoy this tropical superfruit at home.
During this event, select fresh mangos will be available for free on Instacart, allowing customers to experience the summer flavor without cost. This initiative aligns with the National Mango Board’s mission to distribute more mangos while celebrating seasonal tastes.
The campaign will include a themed brand page, shoppable media placements, and targeted digital advertising, all designed to foster engagement and drive product trial.
“This Instacart activation provides a refreshing opportunity to connect with consumers directly in their shopping environment,” commented Ramón Ojeda, executive director of the National Mango Board. “It’s a delightful celebration of National Mango Day and a chance to surprise mango enthusiasts with something sweet.”
Introducing the Mango Mixologist
In addition to the free mangos, the National Mango Board is launching the Mango Mixologist, an interactive, gamified recipe tool airing exclusively on Mango.org. This digital experience allows users to mix and match ingredients, explore custom recipes, and discover how diverse mango can be in various culinary contexts.
Ojeda further elaborated, “Mango Mixologist reflects a strategic shift in how we engage with our consumers. We’re not just sharing recipes; we’re creating a fun, interactive experience that encourages everyone to celebrate mango in their everyday lives.”
The tool will also feature educational resources on mango selection and preparation, along with a collection of mango-centric recipes curated by culinary experts and influencers. Users can save and share their personalized drink creations, enhancing their engagement with the platform.
