Introducing the UK Seafood Federation Limited
The seafood sector in the UK has a new ally in the form of the UK Seafood Federation Limited (UKSF). This newly launched organization aims to bring together the processing and trading industry under one unified voice.
The UKSF is the result of the amalgamation of the Provision of Trade Federation, Seafood Industry Alliance (SIA), and Seafood Grimsby & Humber Alliance Limited (SGHA). With a focus on promoting the interests of seafood processors and traders, the UKSF has already garnered significant support from industry leaders.
Key Members and Leadership
Leading the UKSF is Chairman Simon Smith, vice-chair of Sofina Foods (Europe) and former SGHA chairperson. The management team, headed by CEO Simon Dwyer, includes industry veterans Andrew Kuyk and Mike Short from the SIA, along with esteemed members from the former SGHA team.
