Seafood Task Force Welcomes New Co-Chairs to Lead Board Expansion
The Seafood Task Force (STF), a prominent trade association dedicated to promoting transparency in global seafood supply chains, has announced the appointment of two new Co-Chairs to lead its board. The STF, established in 2014 to address concerns regarding social and environmental issues in tuna and shrimp supply chains, boasts a membership of over 40 commercial entities spanning the seafood industry, including retailers, brands, food service companies, and their supply chain partners.
After a decade of service, Ken Kimble, Vice President GMM – Corporate Foods at Costco Wholesale, will be stepping down as the STF’s Chair. He will be succeeded by Sean Reber, Senior Director Supplier Development at Walmart, and Supavadee Chotikajan, Global Human Rights Lead at Mars Petcare.
Sean Reber, a 10-year Walmart associate with experience in direct import and supplier development, has played an active role in the STF’s Responsible Recruitment subcommittee, contributing to the enhancement of worker protection measures and the organization’s visibility in the seafood industry.
“I am honored to be appointed as co-Chair of the STF Board,” said Mr. Sean Reber. “I look forward to working alongside Khun Pink to implement strategies for continuous improvement and impactful change within global seafood supply chains.”
Supavadee Chotikajan, also known as Pink, brings nearly two decades of experience from Mars Petcare, the Royal Thai Government, and the UN system to her new role. She has a strong background in responsible recruitment within the seafood industry and is committed to driving industry-wide change.

STF Executive Director, Martin Thurley, expressed gratitude to Ken Kimble for his decade of support and welcomed the new Co-Chairs as a sign of a promising future for the organization. He highlighted their leadership qualities and problem-solving skills, emphasizing their role in driving continuous improvement and impactful change.
