The Poultry Science Association Welcomes New Board Members
The Poultry Science Association (PSA) proudly announces the election of its new Board of Directors during the 114th Annual Meeting, held from July 14–17, 2025, in Raleigh, North Carolina.
Board Composition
The newly elected board is composed of seasoned professionals with diverse backgrounds in academia, research, and the poultry industry, all committed to advancing the mission of PSA.
New Board Members
- President: Douglas R. Korver, Ph.D., Alpine Poultry Nutrition, Inc.
- First Vice President: Lisa R. Bielke, Ph.D., North Carolina State University
- Second Vice President: Sami Dridi, Ph.D., University of Arkansas
- Secretary/Treasurer: Gregory L. Engelke, M.S., P.A.S., Cornerstone Resources LLC
- At-Large Director: José Otávio Sorbara, Ph.D., University of Georgia
- At-Large Director: Anita Menconi, Ph.D., Evonik Corporation
- Student Director: Alexandra (Ally) Jackson, Auburn University
Role of the Board
The Board plays a crucial role in guiding the strategic direction of the Association. Responsibilities include making key financial decisions, organizing international meetings, and serving as liaisons to PSA’s various volunteer committees. Their leadership ensures that PSA continues to offer impactful programs and resources for the global poultry science community.
