Westminster, Colorado-based Perdue Specialty Meats and Emerging Brands has announced the appointment of Jason Henshaw as the new Vice President and General Manager. In this role, Henshaw will oversee various premium and natural protein brands under Perdue, including Niman Ranch and Coleman All Natural Meats, as well as operations for the Perdue Premium Meat Company.

With over 20 years of leadership experience in consumer-packaged goods, agriculture, and food supply chain management, Henshaw’s extensive background includes entrepreneurial ventures and executive management roles. He is recognized for his proven ability in finance management, new product development, and establishing high-performing organizations.
Driving Strategy and Sustainability
In his new position, Henshaw will lead the overall strategy, operations, and growth initiatives of Perdue Specialty Meats. His responsibilities will include brand management, sales and marketing, as well as oversight of supply chain and production. Under his leadership, Zeal became known as the fastest-growing grass-fed milk and butter company in the U.S. Henshaw successfully created a unique fresh milk value chain and introduced award-winning products into national and regional retailers. His leadership garnered Zeal final nominations for the NEXTY Awards in 2023 and 2024.
Henshaw’s career also includes senior leadership roles at Origin Energy Limited, Windsor Management and Consulting, and Coles Supermarkets, one of Australia’s largest grocery retailers, following an eight-year tenure at Coca-Cola Amatil.
