Grant Daniel Long Report
An increased yarding brought all regular feed and restocker buyers into participation, along with an added export buyer. Heavy cows garnered a price increase of 5c/kg to 10c/kg, while heavy steers and heifers maintained stable pricing. A high-quality yarding of feeder heifers was noted, selling at elevated prices, whereas feeder steers remained steady. The yarding of restocker cattle displayed mixed quality; better quality animals attracted strong demand, while secondary steers and heifers experienced declines in prices.
