Kenneth Tay brings over 18 years of experience in the shrimp sector, specializing in marketing and business development focused on shrimp broodstock across Asia. He co-founded Shrimp Improvement Systems Singapore Pte Ltd (SIS) in 2004 and led the company until 2010. Later, he served as Director of SIS Group until 2023. SIS is renowned for being a leading provider of Specific Pathogen Free (SPF) P. vannamei shrimp broodstock, operating facilities in Florida and Hawaii. Tay played a crucial role in establishing SIS’s Broodstock Multiplication Centre in Singapore, and he was instrumental in expanding the company’s reach into key Asian markets such as China, Vietnam, Thailand, India, Indonesia, the Philippines, Malaysia, and Korea.
