Commodity Prices Overview
As of 9:14 a.m. CT, the markets reflect a mixed performance among key agricultural commodities. March corn has dropped 1¾ cents, trading at $4.46¼ per bushel. In contrast, January soybeans have seen a slight increase, up less than a penny, now at $10.87¾ per bushel.
Meanwhile, wheat futures are also experiencing downward pressure. The March CBOT wheat is down 5 cents at $5.29½ per bushel, while March Kansas City wheat is down 2¾ cents at $5.24¼. March Minneapolis wheat remains unchanged at $5.76¼.

USDA Export Sales Announced
In other news, the USDA has reported several new export sales, which include:
- China purchasing 136,000 metric tons of soybeans for the 2025/2026 marketing year.
- Unknown destinations acquiring 119,000 metric tons of soybeans for the same marketing year.
- Another 212,000 metric tons of soybeans sold to unknown destinations.
- Poland importing 120,000 metric tons of soybean cake and meal for the 2025/2026 marketing year.
Livestock and Other Commodities Update
As of 9:15 a.m. CT, January feeder cattle are showing an increase, up $1.98 to reach $337.48 per hundredweight (cwt). February live cattle are also gaining, up 70 cents at $227.65 per cwt. February lean hogs have increased by 65 cents to stand at $82.53 per cwt.
In the energy markets, January crude oil is down 35 cents, currently priced at $57.90 per barrel. The U.S. Dollar Index for December is tracking lower at 99.03.
