About Mr. Manu Bhaskaran

Currently, Mr. Bhaskaran is a Partner at the Centennial Group, a strategic advisory firm based in Washington, D.C., and the founding CEO of its Singapore subsidiary, Centennial Asia Advisors. His role involves coordinating independent economic research on Asian political and macroeconomic trends for investment institutions and government bodies. Additionally, he serves as an Adjunct Senior Research Fellow at Singapore’s Institute of Policy Studies, focusing on macroeconomic policy frameworks.

His past experience includes senior positions at Société Générale’s Asian investment banking division, where he oversaw economic strategy analysis and equitable research. He has also been heavily involved in regulatory matters as a Chairman of a high-level government committee regarding moneylender regulations in Singapore.

Education and Affiliations

Mr. Bhaskaran is an alumnus of Magdalene College, Cambridge University, holding an MA (Cantab), and the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University, where he earned a master’s degree in public administration. He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst.

He actively contributes to several institutions, being a Council Member of the Economic Society of Singapore and the Singapore Institute of International Affairs (SIIA), in addition to serving as an advisor to the Asia Foundation.
