The assessments will encompass fresh whole fish, particularly head-on gutted (HOG) salmon sourced from Canada’s west coast. This product serves as the core benchmark for pricing and procurement across the sector.

Market Scope

The pricing will reflect transactions from US importers to the first receivers in the US market, providing relevant insights into pricing dynamics.

Prices will be quoted on a FOB Vancouver basis, indicating transactions at the point of export from the seller before accounting for freight and other downstream distribution costs.

Publication Schedule
