Grown steers and heifers recorded price increases between 12 and 22 cents. The prime grown steers were traded between 445c to 498c/kg, and prime grown heifers sold for 430c to 482c/kg. Cattle prices for cows also improved, increasing by 10 to 15 cents with 2 and 3 score cows selling from 280c to 415c/kg. The prime heavyweight cows were valued at 396c to 430c/kg, averaging 420c/kg. Cows intended for restockers remained stable, ranging from 334c to 378c/kg. Additionally, heavy bulls reached a maximum price of 420c/kg.
