Notably, feeder steers saw a price increase of 20c, while feeder heifers rose by 10c/kg. Current rates for feeder steers ranged from 380c to 522c, and feeder heifers from 410c to 472c/kg. Additionally, restockers are finding great value, with young steers reaching 528c and restocker heifers at 448c/kg.

Turning to grown steers and heifers, prices were predominantly higher. Prime grown steers fetched between 440c and 502c/kg, while prime grown heifers sold for 419c to 476c/kg. Cows maintained their firmly established prices, with 2 and 3 score cows sold to processors priced from 326c to 396c/kg. Prime heavyweight cows averaged 403c, selling between 390c and 420c/kg, and heavy bulls were noted at 378c/kg.
