Numanac has launched pilot programs in collaboration with UC Davis, testing the app with farmers across 16 states. The feedback has led to the creation of a waitlist encompassing 3.1 million acres of farmland, indicating strong interest and demand for Numanac’s services. The app is now publicly available, and the company is focused on scaling operations both in the U.S. and internationally, with conversations underway with farmers from Brazil, Ghana, and the UK.
Securing Support for Growth
To support its ambitious growth strategy, Numanac secured funding from Ponderosa Ventures. Lee emphasizes the alignment between Numanac and the venture’s investment philosophy, particularly regarding sustainable food systems and climate initiatives. “Our focus is on delivering valuable features rapidly and generating meaningful revenue to facilitate future growth,” Lee stated.
