This June, the Shellfish Association of Great Britain (SAGB) is proud to celebrate a significant milestone with its 55th Annual Conference and Gala Fundraising Dinner. This event promises to gather the UK shellfish community for two days of insightful discussions, thought leadership, and festivities.
A Two-Day Industry Highlight
The conference will be held on Tuesday, 10th, and Wednesday, 11th June 2025, at The Crown Estate Offices, 1 St James’s Market, London, offering attendees stunning views of the city. For those unable to participate in person, all sessions will be live-streamed, ensuring comprehensive access for our members and supporters.
On the evening of Tuesday 10th June, we invite you to the Annual Fundraising Gala Dinner. This black-tie event will take place at the historic Fishmongers’ Hall, renowned for its charm and significance in London’s culinary scene.
What to Expect
The SAGB Annual Conference is the cornerstone event of the UK shellfish calendar, uniting key players from across the industry, including producers, processors, retailers, regulators, and policymakers.
This year’s agenda is brimming with engaging content, including:

About the Conference
Since 1969, the SAGB Annual Conference has been the premier gathering for the UK shellfish industry. Set against the beautiful backdrop of The Crown Estate Offices and followed by an exquisite culinary showcase at Fishmongers’ Hall, this conference features world-class speakers and influential industry leaders from the UK, Europe, and beyond.
The highlight of the event is undoubtedly the gala dinner, where the Chief Executive of Fishmongers’ Company, Stefan Pini, curates an exceptional seafood menu that showcases the best of British shellfish.
