Bonefish Grill Unveils Revamped Menu Following Q4 Financial Struggles
In an effort to rejuvenate its brand and boost sales, Bonefish Grill has introduced an updated menu after experiencing disappointing financial results in the fourth quarter of 2024.
Headquartered in Tampa, Florida, Bloomin’ Brands, the parent company of Bonefish Grill since 2001, announced the new offerings on Wednesday, April 30. The menu features chef-curated entrees, prominently spotlighting seafood options like sea bass and salmon.
Executive Chef Jeremy Lett shared insights in a press release, emphasizing that the revised menu was crafted with valuable feedback from both customers and staff:
“It combines culinary expertise and a cocktail-forward experience but also brings back some guest favorites,” said Lett.
Exciting New Dishes
Among the fresh offerings is the Parker’s Margarita Sea Bass, expertly wood-grilled and served with a chef-crafted tequila lime sauce, along with jasmine rice and asparagus. The revamped menu also includes a bourbon-glazed salmon, pan-seared ahi tuna, and a creamy tomato shrimp linguine.
Classic Favorites with a Twist
In addition to new dishes, Bonefish Grill has revitalized some beloved classics, introducing “improved toppings” and a new cilantro lime sauce for its saucy shrimp and blackened Baja fish tacos.
This menu refresh comes at a crucial time, as Bloomin’ Brands prepares to release its financial results for the first quarter ending March 30, 2025, just a week after the unveiling.
Financial Context
Bloomin’ Brands faced challenges in meeting revenue expectations in Q4 2024, reporting total revenue of $972 million, which marked an 18.6% decline. Additionally, Bonefish Grill experienced a sales drop of 1.5% across its company-owned locations (162 of 166).
