Ron Rogness Appointed Interim Executive Director of GAPP

Industry Expertise to Guide Transition

The Association of Genuine Alaska Pollock Producers (GAPP) has appointed Ron Rogness as its Interim Executive Director following the departure of CEO Craig Morris. Rogness, who has served as the Director of Industry Relations, Partnerships, and Fishery Analysis at GAPP, will oversee day-to-day operations as he works closely with the Board of Directors during this transitional period.

A Testament to Experience

“We are extremely fortunate to have someone of Ron’s knowledge and experience to assist in the transition to the new CEO,” said GAPP Chairman Jim Johnson. “Ron has been an integral member of the GAPP team for the past five years and understands GAPP, the fishery, and industry as well as anyone.” Johnson emphasized the organization’s commitment to conducting a comprehensive search for the next CEO, aiming to continue the momentum GAPP has built in promoting the Wild Alaska Pollock brand both domestically and internationally.
