New Event Showcasing Scottish Food & Drink to UK Buyers
Showcasing Scotland UK is set to revolutionize the way Scottish producers connect with major UK buyers in the food and drink industry. Organized by Scotland Food & Drink Partnership, this event will bring together 80 Scottish producers for high-speed sales meetings with 80 influential buyers from retail, wholesale, foodservice, and hospitality sectors.
The event is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, at the Doubletree Hilton in Glasgow. A networking dinner will precede the event, allowing attendees to mingle and build relationships with potential buyers.
Showcasing Scotland UK is part of a series of events led by Scotland Food & Drink that aims to create commercial opportunities for Scottish suppliers both locally and globally. This includes Showcasing Scotland Global, Showcasing Scotland Regional, and Showcasing Scotland Local events.
With a growth opportunity of £1 billion for Scottish producers in the UK markets, as identified in the national strategy Sustaining Scotland. Supplying the World, the Showcasing Scotland UK event is designed to help businesses capitalize on this potential growth by facilitating business interactions between suppliers and buyers.
Attendees can expect to meet key decision-makers from various sectors such as retail groups, supermarkets, caterers, hoteliers, online operators, and wholesalers. Accredited businesses with SALSA and BRC certifications are encouraged to apply for participation.
Building on the success of previous events, Showcasing Scotland UK is the first in a new series of ‘Showcasing’ events. It will be complemented by Showcasing Scotland Local events happening across the country from January to April.

The event on May 14 marks the beginning of a series of opportunities for buyers and suppliers to showcase the best of Scottish products to the world.”
